INTERNATIONAL TIBETAN QIGONG ASSOCIATION (ITQA) MEMBERSHIP We invite you to become a member of ITQA. The annual individual membership dues are $35. With membership you will receive newsletters, schedules of upcoming events, and a 50% discount on all repeat teachings. Your membership helps support the work of our organization and Master Wang's mission of preserving and bringing these sacred teachings to the west. Members are encouraged to attend our ongoing Qigong practice groups. These groups meet regularly in most of the geographical areas that we hold workshops in. To find out times, dates and locations of a practice group near you call our San Francisco office: (415) 982-5303. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Volunteerism is encouraged to keep administrative costs at a minimum, providing more funds to support Master Wang's healing and teaching sessions and the future Tibetan Qigong wellness center. Donations can be directed toward the temple/education fund, through the Zi Sheng Wang Foundation, or to the ITQA general operating fund. These non-profit organizations are recognized as IRS tax exempt 501(c)(3) California corporations and your donations may be tax deductible to the extent of the law. Please consult your tax advisor. To become an ITQA member fill out a membership form and send it with your check to our San Francisco office. GOALS The primary work of ITQA is to support Master Wang's work of teaching the self-healing techniques of Tibetan Qigong to new generations in the west, and to build a foundation for this work to continue in the future. Funds are being set aside for the creation of a temple, Tibetan Qigong school and senior citizens community in the San Francisco Bay area. Additional goals are the English translation and publication of Master Wang's book, The Path of Dzogchen and publication of a small book of testimonials from people whose healing has been assisted by Master Wang. MISSION STATEMENT The primary objectives and purposes of this organization shall be to disseminate Tibetan Buddhist theory, to promote the teachings and philosophy of Buddha to the community, to do research for the profound Buddhism, and to teach Buddhist Qigong and meditation to the public. Tibetan Buddhism represents one of the great traditions of spiritual and cultural attainment. The highest and most profound teachings of Tibetan Buddhism are now facing extinction and it is this organization's purpose to save the spirit of this knowledge. It is the intention of this organization to rescue, preserve and promote this sacred and profound knowledge for the benefit of the American people and all of mankind. This organization embraces a balanced and pragmatic union of Buddhist philosophy with modern civilization in order to provide an exceptional level of Buddhist practice, study and research. This organization follows the principles of the Nyingma lineage or tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. This organization intends to help alleviate human suffering, promote healing and provide charitable services to the community, directed by the principles of Tibetan Buddhism. Donations and assistance will also be given to Tibetan monasteries and the Tibetan people to aid in the preservation of their great spiritual traditions and culture. This organization shall not discriminate in any form, including but not limited to sex or race.
